The Karate Kid for the month of
March 2010 is
Angie Gonzalez
Angie started in the beginner class on Saturday mornings with Sensei Ray. Angie's brother Ethan also takes the classes with her. Angie is one of the smallest students in the class. But even thou she is small in size. She is big in determination.
Angie's father wrote down some things about Angie and what karate means to her and her family. Angie, her brother, Mom, and Dad are a great example of a karate family that support each other and we are proud to have them as part of our karate family and we are also proud to have Angie Gonzalez as our Karate Kid of the Month.
Here is what Angie's father said:
Angie enjoys her karate class because she says she likes exercise and all the cool moves she is leaning. Even her Teacher at school says she is improving in discipline and grades. This activity is very enjoyable for her brother Ethan who also does karate and everybody else in the family. Angie and her family find karate to be a good self defense practice and an excellent way to promote discipline and healthy exercise.
Angie says “Thank you Class and also thank you to her Sensei’s”.
Ok Here are the pictures: Enjoy
Angie poses with her Brother Ethan. Ethan does a wrist grab and she kicks his leg. Ethan then tries a bear hug. Ethan then punches while Angie does a block and punch.
Angie kicks Ethan in the cup. Ethan does a chock and Angie breaks free. Angie punches assistant Instructor Eder Florez in the stomach.
Angie does a Down Block. Then a High Block and then a round house kick.
