I don't know about you but I love seeing a good movie. Unfortunately some of the movies are real stinkers while others are great! Before we start on any movie reviews I want to address a technique that some Directors are doing that I believe is literally ruining some of the best movies. With all of their flunkies kissing their Butts and telling them how great they are. They tend to believe that this technique is working. When in fact it is only making me (and many other people) madder every time I see it. And I am talking about those Herky Jerky Camera scenes.

I was told that the directors originally started using the herky jerky stuff when they were mixing real film with CGI (computer graphic interface) so that the audience would have a harder time telling where the real film and the CGI overlapped. And I understand that. But those days are long gone. However some of the directors still use this technique because they believe that it makes the scenes look like they have more action in them. personally it makes me look anywhere else but at the screen in an attempt to ward off an epileptic seizures induced by this unwatchable action scene. The real shame is that I come to a lot of movies to see the action scenes. And this techniques ruins it for me. So I am going to start a list of Directors who do this Herky Jerky Camera Angle and we can see where it goes from there. Perhaps they will wise up and stop or maybe the producers will quit using them and they can get a job more suitable to their abilities like washing dishes at Denny's.

Avoid Movies directed by these Bozoz

Pete Segal: Directed Get Smart. None of the action scenes could be made out. Sure it was a good movie but the action scenes Sucked

Paul W. S. Anderson: Directed Resident Evil Truly a test in keeping your lunch down by watching this movie. It was a great movie but the herky jerky action scenes were too much to follow. Hard to believe that this is the same man who directed Mortal Kombat. But then again Mortal Kombat was made before Paul found that Chimp with jock itch to hold the camera during action scents.

Paul Greengrass: Directed both The Bourne Supremacy and the Bourne Ultimatum. Both were truly awesome movies until the action scenes started then they were just pitiful. (2 Paul's already, is it something with the name?)

Peter Berg  (Now another Pete): Directed the movie Hancock with Will Smith. Hancock was so jerky that if it comes on local TV and airs for free I will just turn it off and read a book.

DJ Caruso Directed Eagle Eye: This movie is the one where I learned to hold my hand in front of my face and cover my vision of the center of the screen when the action gets jerky. It really made a difference too. Now I don't see so much of the jerk, however I also don't see all of the movie either. Beats throwing up or having an epileptic seizure from watching the jerky action.
