Originally listed on Indiegogo for $830, the Ubuntu Edge price has dropped as it tries to beat the clock to reach its $32 mil. goal by August 21st. Canonical has also added 15 more devices to the 100 phones for $80,000 Enterprise bundles, in hopes that more businesses will follow first Enterprise investor Bloomberg LP. With only 13 days left to reach full funding, keep an eye on that progress bar — it’s going to be tight race!
After two years, a burger that was grown in a petri-dish was tasted by 3 individuals, and despite bland reviews taste-wise, the burger has generated a ton of excitement about the future of technology and cultured meat. Sergey Brin, one of the founders of Google, paid for the project.
Mozilla launched the 23rd version of Firefox on both Android and desktop. The new features, such as share features, smoother scrolling, and auto-complete, greatly improve user and developer experience for both versions.
