Mobile Recruiting Conference 2014: where talent acquisition meets mobile innovation

On October 24, the Mobile Recruiting Conference (MREC) will commence its fourth year as the go-to event for talent acquisition practitioners and innovators looking to come together to discuss the industry’s direction. The daylong conference will feature keynotes, panels, and breakout sessions focused on exploring the intersection of mobile innovation for HR and recruiting.

Punchkick CTO Ryan Unger will be joining the presentation roster of amazing industry experts speaking at the event. His session titled “Designing for Happiness: a Recipe for Job Seeker Disruption,” will detail a process for organizations to find the best talent by meeting job-seeker demands with the best recruiting experiences on mobile. Unger is also part of a panel with brands like Airbnb, Microsoft, and GoDaddy to discuss optimizing for mobile and what the future of recruitment will look like.

“I’m excited to be presenting at MREC and start conversations about how to better attract and engage talent on mobile,” Ryan said. “There are so many opportunities to connect with job seekers through technology, and the kinds of talent professionals we’ll be speaking with at MREC can truly benefit from these new ideas.”

MREC founder Michael Marlatt created the conference to meet a need in the talent acquisition industry. “The proliferation of mobile adoption has created both an opportunity and a challenge for employers,” Michael said. “Mobile and tablet devices are the portals through which job-seekers connect to critical facets of everyday life. Employers who understand how to effectively leverage and deliver relevance across the mobile channel will win. At MREC14, employers will have the opportunity to gain valuable insight from industry thought leaders, as well as learn how to effectively execute on mobile strategies.”
