Increasingly, brand-specific loyalty apps are changing the game for retailers and B2C companies competing for customers’ attention. In 2016, Kwik Trip approached Punchkick to design and build its first-ever customer-facing loyalty rewards applications. Both Kwik Trip’s loyalty program and their co-branded credit and debit card signup goals rivaled those of its biggest national competitors in the convenience store, grocery, and fuel spaces.
We partnered with Kwik Trip’s marketing and IT teams to deliver original, native iOS and Android smartphone apps as well as a standalone web application to support the loyalty program’s public rollout in 2017, quickly exceeding Kwik Trip’s customer growth goals.
Kwik Trip’s new loyalty apps led to an enormous increase in customer loyalty by enabling users to earn points, redeem rewards, and maintain co-branded credit and debit card accounts, completely online and on mobile. Within a year, Kwik Trip’s loyalty app accounted for over one-third of all in-store transactions and exceed adoption goals by 150%.
