Following the launch of Apple Pay with iOS 8.1 last week, a number of retailers have added compatible NFC terminals or pulled their support in favor of other options. Punchkick was eager to see how Apple’s payment platform compared to Google Wallet and other NFC-enabled systems, so we took a shiny new iPhone 6 for a spin at a few stores in Chicago. We were met with a few confused faces when we started tapping the iPhone on NFC terminals in different stores, but we had a few successes at locations for Apple’s retail launch parters. Here’s how we fared.
